We are pleased to announce that Ristretto Coffee Roasters and Howard Street Coffee, by Ristretto will be collecting for Grounds for Health in February and March this year.
The Grounds for Health (GFH) rallies the coffee community to support women’s health services in coffee-growing countries. This international non-profit collaborates with coffee cooperatives and local health officials, working to eradicate cervical cancer, which kills more women in developing regions than any other form of cancer.
Collecting will give GFH a presence in our store, develop awareness of Women’s health issues at coffee origin, and provide a means to support the initiative (via donations).
Later on in the year GFH conducts a green coffee auction that we hope to participate in given we can address the logistical demands/ cost of returning 1-4 bags of coffee to us here in Perth!
