2010… What a hard working year, one filled with an ample amount of challenge. A test. It’s great knowing that we will launch into 2011 with more verve and vigour than ever; ready to source, roast, share and experience more great coffees with and from great people.  Ristretto @ 160 Central proved again that some of the best coffee ever offered in the CBD was not from any table and chair place but a tidy, active, friendly kiosk in an arcade, somewhere near Central Park building. Consistent as always, the forward view suggests to look out for the re-vamped Custom blend there in Feb-March. Thanks to the great team who has developed really well in the last few months. It was almost a relief to finally fling the doors open at HOWARD STREET COFFEE in December. Local interest, business and good coffee in this area continues to build daily. Great to meet the locals there too! So excited about the relevance and potential of this spot to serve as a hub for quality coffee east of William St in the Perth CBD.  Fit out of our Northbridge Coffee Roastery is about to commence. Will be great to add a dimension to the New Northbridge cultural arts precinct and servicing the expanding Central TAFE, ATO Northbridge, PICA, Art Gallery of WA and surrounding businesses quite nicely. Yes, we can confirm the rumours about a walk up coffee/ espresso window service on the laneway side and surrounding alfresco. Next year we have the first few lots of Cup of Excellence coffees which we have supported directly arrive. This will be a new benchmark and experience for coffee in Perth. We will have lots (of lots!) to introduce and share in 2011 plus some expanded retail barista and coffee merchandise. Would like to thank all our staff for stepping up and doing what ever it takes to take the great coffees we source and roast and deliver them to our equally fab customers. Thank you all for your interest and support and the opportunity to head into 2011 together.
