We have two events for Eat Drink Perth this week at each of Ristretto and Howard Street Coffee. They also double as fundraisers with proceeds to coffeekids.org. This Tuesday at Ristretto @ 160 Central Arcade we’ll donate $1 for all who try their single origin as “black” (i.e. no milk or sugar added; espresso, long black… we make an exception for short maccs/ macchiato). A single origin is a specially selected coffee kept separate for its strong and/ or unique character and exemplary qualities. Word has it that we have a great Costa Rican in queue. Word will be out Tuesday morning on our @RistrettoPerth twitter. Wednesday sees coffee cupping return @ Howard Street Coffee. Try a run of coffees, each from a different country and partake in the practice of coffee cupping, learn about the coffee sensory framework of assessment and communication, and again help us support coffeekids.org with your gold coin donation! 11:30am Wednesday sharp.
