Perth’s Best Coffee 2011 - Top 3 Cafe Results
The City of Perth, as part of its Eat Drink Perth food festival, asked Perth’s coffee drinkers to vote for Perth’s Best Coffee. Ristretto Espresso specialists/ Ristretto Coffee Roasters topped the cafe list for Perth’s Best Coffee. Two cafe friends helped form the Top 3; well done Ruth (Cabin Fever/ Pigeonhole) and Simon (Castros).
Our newly established coffee hideaway; Howard Street Coffee, landed in spot 7 sharing that place with Lowdown Espresso. Nice!
Thank you to all those that voted and all the baristas and cafes that are there day in day out preparing and serving coffee - especially those applying best practices/ standards working with a true coffee focus; not those simply just streaming swill into a hot cup of milk (in 2011)! It was great initiative of the City of Perth to give Perth coffee drinkers a voice and an opportunity to vote for their favourite coffee and cafes plus the opportunity to win a year’s supply of daily coffee. Thanks.
A lucky Epic Espresso (West Perth) customer won the prize draw.
Again, thank you to those that voted for Ristretto awarding us all Perth’s Best Coffee, as well as those who also participated in the Perth Coffee Trail, the weekly coffee cupping at Howard Street Coffee and Single Origin Tuesdays at Ristretto @160 Central Arcade, Perth. It’s always great to meet, share coffee, and listen to fellow Perth coffee aficionados:)
